What you send us
This site has two forms. The project inquiry form asks for your name, an optional business name, your email address, an optional website address, and a description of what you need help with. The free website review form asks for your website address and your email address. Nothing else is required, and there are no hidden fields beyond a spam trap and a label recording which form you used.
You can also reach us by phone or email without using a form. Anything you send that way is handled the same way as a form submission.
Where it goes
Submissions are emailed to josh@hoosiermarketingsolutions.com and stored in this site’s WordPress database so an inquiry is not lost if an email fails. Email delivery is handled by Elementor Site Mailer, which processes the message in order to send it. Site hosting is provided by Cloudways, so submissions sit on their infrastructure.
How it is used
To reply to you, to prepare a quote or a website review, and to carry out work if you become a client. That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list or newsletter from a form submission.
Analytics and advertising
This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads through the Google Site Kit plugin. These record things like which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, what device was used, and whether a form was successfully submitted or a phone or email link was clicked.
What is deliberately not sent to Google: your name, your email address, your phone number, your business name, your message, and any website address you submit through a form. Contact-link events record only that a phone or email link was clicked and which part of the page it was in.
Google acts as a separate data controller for the information it collects. Their handling is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out across sites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies
Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones and to measure ad performance. The site itself may set a cookie if you log in to WordPress, which applies to administrators rather than visitors. Browsing and using the forms does not require you to accept any cookie, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without breaking the site.
How long it is kept
Form submissions are kept for as long as they are useful for an active or potential project. Analytics data is retained according to the setting in the Google Analytics property. Ask and we will tell you what is currently held about you.
Access, correction and deletion
Email josh@hoosiermarketingsolutions.com and ask for a copy of what has been stored about you, a correction, or deletion. Requests are handled within 30 days. Deleting a stored submission does not retroactively remove analytics data Google already holds, which is why no personal detail is sent there in the first place.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
